Hike the beautiful High Peterskill trails in the Mohonk Preserve, atop the famous Shawangunk Ridge.

The first half of this hike we will ascend and descend 500 feet twice over four miles. Under our feet will be intensely folded metamorphic rocks on this rugged and beautiful path through dense hemlock and rhododendron forests. The landscape in this region demonstrates the dramatic effects of the glaciers from the last ice age.
