Hang Gliding Adventure

Feel the Rush of Learning to Fly!

On this adventure you will learn the proper techniques of flying a hang glider on your first day!

The morning starts with a short instruction at the training facilities. After you’ve been fitted with your equipment, you will learn how your hang glider changes speeds and maneuvers.

On your tandem flight, a plane will bring you up to to 2500 feet from level ground with your certified instructor, then release and float freely, bird-like back to a gentle landing on wheels. It’s a dream come true. Price includes round trip transportation, flight, lesson, taxes and gratuity.

You’re in good hands. Safety is taken very seriously and the instructors are certified with the US Hang Gliding Association. Flying will depend on the weather conditions. Should the winds work against us, we may not be able to fly that day. If it looks like the weather will be bad, we will cancel the day before the trip.

Please note this activity will require running so you must be in a physical condition that will allow you to make the most of the day.
You may also wish to bring a book, magazine, frisbee, football, etc. as there will be downtime when you are not flying.

Price Includes

Round-trip transportation from Manhattan in our passenger vans, licensed driver, certified and licensed guides, gas, tolls, equipment and instruction

Testimonials

Thanks so much! I had a really great time! Much better than when I first did any type of rappelling years ago. The trip was very well organized and well planned. It was a fantastic day, some great exercise, a great environment and just reminded me of what I used to do as a kid. Loved it all. — Alan
