Outdoor Bound Life Change Fitness

One Skill. One Challenge. Many Changes.

Choose from a variety of programs to help you get in shape while you learn a new skill or develop an old one. On one of our brand-new 8 or 16 week life change programs you will actively challenge yourself every week in one of a variety of disciplines including: hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing and more.

Begin with pre-fitness testing to determine your skill level. Continue with two sport-specific workouts a week with an optional third to help prepare you for the weekend when you will practice and develop your new skills on several different day-long excursions, including a day of challenging yourself on a high ropes course.

Each week you will learn new techniques specific to your sport to build your strength, flexibility and stamina. Additionally, you will learn orienteering, basic wilderness survival and the latest gear/technology. After 8 weeks, the program will culminate in a 2-day adventure challenge.

If you chose the 16-week program, continue to the next level and culminate your experience with the ultimate 8-day adventure in rugged, beautiful Banff, Canada. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Banff National Park rests in the heart of the Canadian Rockies and has long been considered the most prized national park in North America and a gem in the world of outdoor adventure.

Indoor Rock Climbing

With over 5,000 square feet of indoor climbing surface and 60 routes that are redesigned monthly, even the most experienced climber won’t get bored. Many challenges await you at this top-notch climbing gym!

This wall’s distinct layout makes it possible to work on a very large variety of climbing techniques and strength exercises that you will transfer directly to the rock.

The layout includes the following features: a cave complete with a 40-foot multi-stepped lead roof (set in average of 34 degrees), two 20-foot squeeze chimneys, a 160-foot bouldering route, a bouldering room, a campus, and hangboards.

Outdoor Bound staff will be on hand to instruct and belay, and you will learn to belay, too.
